Brecht Buysschaert is a driven entrepreneur and team coach with over 11 years of experience, perfectly blending his passion for sports and health with practical know-how. After earning his Master’s in Physical Education with a specialization in Sports Marketing and Sports Management from KU Leuven (2004), he further honed his skills with a NASM certificate in Physical Coaching (2014) and additional courses in sports nutrition (Syntra and CVA), workplace ergonomics (AZ St. Lucas), and health promotion (VIGEZ).
As a certified RunningSmart coach and a continuous learner in sustainable HR practices, he brings over a decade of sales experience from top companies like Duvel Moortgat, Imperial Meat Products, and Unilin. His entrepreneurial drive combined with his expertise in team coaching makes him an inspiring asset within organizations.
Outside of work, Brecht is a passionate athlete. Whether it’s alpine climbing, trail running, tennis, padel, skiing, cycling (road and MTB), yoga, or strength training, he finds daily inspiration in sports. Influenced by legends like Michael Jordan, Fabian Cancellara, Roger Federer, and Wayne Gretzky, he also enjoys life’s finer pleasures – think a delicious steak frites, a Duvel, or a glass of fine Italian Piemonte.
